Title: Hyperion Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description: The Hyperion/BI Developer is responsible for creating
Reports design, development and support for Business Intelligence (BI) and
reporting solutions to meet the business needs of our clients and provide
technical assistance to team members. This role works closely with our
clients to deliver, maintain and troubleshoot, and enhance BI functionality.
They add value to the ANSS organization and North America Global Delivery
Network through their area of expertise, their skills and their knowledge of
the Business Intelligence and Report Development, BI/BO toolset, application
of this toolset for Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing solutions, and
through their constructive teamwork with our clients and peers.
Responsibilities of the role:
• Review functional requirements and technical specifications and document
them as needed.
• Strong working knowledge in Hyperion System 11 products (HFM, Planning,
OBIEE, etc.)
• Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle database strongly
preferred
• Understanding of how to develop calculations scripts and business rules
and Cubes
• Develop complex Report Studio reports involving drill up, drill down and
master/detail queries.
• Migrate reports/cubes from Other BI reporting Environments
• Strong database understanding, SQL optimization skills and OLAP tools.
(preferred)
• Willing to travel up to 30%.Required to stay current with technology,
business and industry issues and drivers
• Effectively communicate with team members and management.
