Role of Contractor	Business Intelligence Developer
Activities	A BI developer with hands-on experience designing and developing BI solutions - Create new reports, dashboards - Queries, analyzes, and interprets complex data stored in the target systems - Identify data quality issues and see through to resolution - Work closely with BA to gather and validate requirements through interviews with business users and developers of existing systems - Test and validate data flow and reports
Software /Technology Skills Required	-Knowledge of financial services - Experience using BI tools and reporting - Work experience in data warehouse environment - data replication, extraction, transformation, loading and cleansing - Strong SQL scripting
Soft Skills and Prior Work Experience (i.e. communication, prior work and longevity)	Skills preferred: - Agile Methodology project delivery experience.  Experienced in writing user stories and specifying acceptance criteria - - Pentaho experience is a plus - Sybase DB experience - Hedge fund / Portfolio Accounting /Back Office experience
