QC upgrade expert from QC 8.2 to QC 10
HP Quality Center Version 9.2(QC9.2) and 10 (QC10) Install
· Review of QC Infrastructure:
· Verify current and new HP QC infrastructure
· Review existing HP QC instance, deployment and configuration:
· Inventory current QC instances to review project and test assets and readiness for move to QC10. Inventory will include Domains and Projects,Users, Requirements, Test Cases, Test Sets/Instances, Defects
· Plan and identify a project upgrade schedule, list of projects details and required downtime for migration of current instance of QC 8.2
· Oversee backups of QC 8.2 project data as well as database data
· Quality Center 9.2 (QC10) Installation and Migration
· Install QC9.2 on new infrastructure
· Quality Center 10 (QC10) Installation and Migration
· Install QC10 and latest general availability patch on new infrastructure
· Work with Customer to configure QC10 instance for consolidation use, as required (file system, db, backups)
· Install and validate any additional new licenses for QC10
HP Quality Center Version 10.0 (QC10) Project Asset Migration
· Upgrade QC 8.2 Projects to QC 10
· Work with customer to migrate up to twenty (20) QC8.2 projects to QC 9.2 and then to the QC10 instance
· Assist customer with migrating project data to QC 10 repository and database
· Assist customer with validation effort of projects and their inherited and new functionalities in QC 10
· Setup a migration process for client to migrate remaining projects
Position: QC Specialist with SAP EI
Location: ME
Experience with QC 10 upgrades especially with SAP EI
2.1.1. QC 10.0 Configuration
· Disconnect QC 9.X integration with SAP Solution Manager
· Verify NEW QC production instance
· Configure HP QC 10.0 integration with SAP Solution Manager
2.1.2. Migrate and Verify QC Projects
· Migrate up to five (5) small (less than 1 GB of data) HP QC projects to QC 10.0 instance
· Migrate up to two (2) large (more than 5 GB of data) HP QC projects to QC 10.0 instance.
· Verify integration with SAP Solution Manager and TAO for new QC 10 environment
· Verify HP QC project migration
· Assist with Quick Test Profession Asset Upgrade tool
2.1.3. QC 10.0 New Features
· Facilitate up to three (3) mentoring workshops to review QC 10.0 new features and HP leading practices
· Provide standard documentation covering installation, configuration and administration
