Position Summary:
The Clearing & Validation Ops Analyst will report to the Senior Clearing & Validation Data Analyst, with the responsibility for the operational delivery of the data required for Bridgewater's research and trading strategies to tight operational deadlines and agreed levels of quality and service.
The Clearing & Validation team is responsible for ensuring all timeseries data, reference data and metadata are updated and maintained to agreed levels of service and quality, and all data failing established validation rules is reviewed and cleared in accordance with agreed procedures. The C&V Ops Analyst will be responsible for executing these daily operational processes in a consistently excellent manner. He/ She will resolve data exceptions and execute recurring data importing processes per procedures and escalate situations outside of procedures to the Senior Clearing & Validation Data Analyst.
Responsibilities would include:
• Execute the C&V daily processes, clearing exceptions based on the runbook methodologies, and follow escalation procedures
• Monitoring the import (automated and manual) recurring source data exceptions
• Delivery of data to agreed levels of service and quality
Position Requirements: • 3+ years of experience within the Financial Services sector • Strong execution skills, detail focused and operationally tight • Data validation experience required • Proven track record of delivering data quality and service • Flexibility, ability to multi-task, committed • Highly intelligent, driven individual with an unusual amount of common sense and logic • Comfort with giving and receiving criticism, managing small to medium initiatives, and taking charge of the tasks at hand • Open, engaging personality
