SQL DBA/Security Applications Team
Location: Atlanta, GA (Need locals)
Duration: 4-6 months
This position provides support, developmental and design expertise on the Microsoft SQL 2005 database servers in a clustered environment to support the Security Applications Team.
Experience and Skills:
Technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including:
- SQL Server 2005 in clustered and standalone configurations (SSIS and SQL 2008 a plus)
- Support Mirroring to DR site
- SQL Reporting Services
- SQL Profiler
- Web technologies (XSLT, .NET)
- Scripting (JavaScript, VBScript)
- Advanced troubleshooting to include root cause analysis
- Security technology (a plus)
o Strong architectural and design skills for enterprise software systems
o 5+ years working with SQL Server
o 2+ years working with .NET or other web technologies
o Experience with business requirements gathering/analysis
o 4+ years previous experience working with customers in a technical consulting role
o 2+ years previous experience managing a technical team
