POSITION: Firewall/VPN Administrator / IT Infrastructure Engineer II

Assignment Length: 6 months
Job Description: Firewall/VPN Administrator - Installs, maintains, and operates enterprise firewall and VPN systems. Must have advanced understanding of network security principles. Job includes addition of new policies to existing firewall rule base, also includes analyzing and optimizing existing rules. Assists firewall team with deployment of firewall hardware and software infrastructure. Creates new DMZs and Extranet network segments as required. Candidate must have advanced knowledge on Check Point NG firewall operating system, platforms, and related management system. Experience with Cisco PIX firewalls also required. Experience with Tufin SecureTrack desired but not required.
Supports enterprise VPN and Extranets, diagnoses issues related to client, site-to-site, and Extranet VNP connections. Experience with Cisco 3000 series VPN concentrator and software client required.
Heavy Checkpoint Firewall experience REQUIRED.
